I started fresh Windows 7 install, then gigabyte drivers disk, then windows updates but after getting afew  restarts and I wonder how to look memory to see how this new MoBo is handling and found out it is only reading 4 GB out of 8 GB install.

so then shut down and reseated all four sticks, reboot and still not showing the 8 GB of memory, the only thing i can think of is that mother board is overclocking and not using 4 Gb too keep it from over loading it but that is what i think.

any help on this matter would be helpfull

So I was poking around and moved the sticks around again and it looks like in 3D BIOS that Channel A=#4 and channel B=#2 both on left of CPU are not working or not showing any memory .same thing in CPU-Z  showing no memory in #1-#2
